Bir billing, a beautiful & less crowded village, is located in Himachal Pradesh and the nearest airport(Kangra Airport) is around 68 KM. Gunehar Waterfalls: One of the worth visiting place near bir billing which is around 1.5 KM from Bir colony. You can easily reach near the location through taxi or bicycle or a bike. Once you reach the location, you will have to reach the destination by a short 15-20 minutes of trek. During summers, you will have to trek a bit deep to see the water but the view is definitely very serene.
Rajgundha Trek: Rajgundha is located in the midst of Dhauladhar Ranges and it’s a small village which is not connected by roads, which makes it as a perfect place to do an offbeat trek. It’s an easy to moderate trek for those who are doing trekking for the very first time. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to reach the campsite, and trust me the view is soo amazing. Temperature usually is very low so if you decide to travel, please make sure you carry enough winter wear gears to protect yourself from chilling cold during evening and night time. Morning view definetly soo beautiful from the campsite but make sure you leave as early as possible because it really gets hot when you trek for 4-6 hours while going back. Trek starts from the Billing launch site so you will have to take a taxi or a vehicle from Bir to reach the launch site which is approximately 16 KMs from the Bir colony.
Paragliding: One of the best sports in Bir Billing is Paragliding. There are more than 200 trained pilots who will take you to a never forgetting experience. Flying time is 20-30 minutes and like most of us would have fear of heights or doing some extreme sports like this but honestly, you will thoroughly enjoy the flight, especially if you decide to experience to go for spiral.
